Do I need to be a solopreneur or consultant to be part of the community?No. While The Understory is designed with independent workers in mind, we welcome women across the spectrum of work and work-in-progress. That includes those who are:
in full-time roles, but thinking about how to work differently within their current environment
considering a career transition but not sure what’s next
exploring the possibility of working independently, whether through solopreneurship, consulting, or creative work
just starting to build something on their own
seasoned solopreneurs or consultants seeking community and renewal
We also welcome those in liminal spaces—pausing, caregiving, healing, or holding questions about what comes next. If the spirit of this community speaks to you, you are welcome here.
